About

I started developing games about 15 years ago. Basically I made games I like in QuickBASIC together with a good friend for some years. While getting more and more experienced in this language the final games of that time usually had VGA graphics with customized palettes, mouse control, sound effects and custom made level editors. I even made my own sprite editor in QuickBASIC with a self-invented file format to save some disk space compared to bmp. One of the games we even published to the internet which was a rather calm place those days. So we got almost no feedback  at all Embarrassed.
With the new millennium I made some testing with C++ and Direct3D and also Java but somehow lost the motivation to continue programming.
Just recently my daily job brought me to Python and I started thinking about developing games again. I gave it a try at a Mini Ludum Dare compo and shortly after at LD21 (http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-21/?action=preview&uid=4834) which was great fun. So I try to get back to all the fine arts of doing game design, programming, making nice pixel arts and stuff.
